OPCC “Street Medicine” – Filming, Saturday March 8th, 2014

We spent a fantastic and inspirational day with a team of 3 Doctors, a PA and a Case Manager from OPPC (a homeless organization in Santa Monica, CA). A humbling experience that will stay with us forever. The compassion, empathy, time, effort, perseverance and dedication that we experienced was truly overwhelming. Thank you OPCC for this great opportunity to film and produce our Inspirational Film “Street Medicine” – a short documentary about the work of OPCC Doctors helping homeless on the streets of Santa Monica, CA.

ENJOY a cool party, watch our inspirational documentary and meet the film’s star, former LAPD SWAT OFFICER Glenn Clark in person.

You’ll be joining us at our Bel-Air location at 1pm on January 26th, 2014. Food, drinks, music, and fun will be shared with all.

“Beacon of Light” was created with the OPPC, an L.A. Homeless Shelter, and shines a unique and beautiful light on the front lines of overcoming homelessness through a raw mix of L.A. cinematography, inspirational quotes, and interviews. The film also features a soundtrack of heart-felt music by award winning musician, Moby and presents former LAPD SWAT OFFICER GLENN CLARK who overcame homelessness and shares his journey of hope and his passion for LIFE! Experience true miracles with Glenn and within OPCC, as you JOIN US and WATCH a true story of HOPE.

OPCC Announcement (1:42) | Film

ElephantTribe.org is excited to announce its newest collaboration with OPCC, a large network of homeless shelters in Santa Monica, to produce a series of innovative inspirational short films with the working title: “Beacon of Light”.

We plan to tell the stories of the OPCC Staff’s journey of inspiring others, as well as the story of its donors and clients touching the impact on the local communities and the importance of the effects on all of us. The idea is to create a long term project where ElephantTribe.org will produce films that can be followed throughout many years to come, following stories in time and space.
