Monarch Program Facility Filming Excursion | June 8th, 2013
Exploring Elephanttribe.org and ElephantTribe Inspirational Films recently embraced the beauty of the Monarch Program facility in Encinitas, CA. We filmed the story of the monarch butterfly and it’s eloquent representation of the cycle of life which is experienced by each of us.
From birth to death life takes us through various phases and layers of work and play which are all reflected in the 4 stages of the butterfly life cycle. Through metamorphosis, Greek for transformation, the butterfly transforms from an egg to a caterpillar to a chrysalis (Greek for golden crown). The final stage of the cycle involves the chrysalis bravely shedding its outer layer and revealing all of the beautiful parts within that make up the butterfly. This process reminds us of the internal beauty that resides in all of us. Un-cage your inner-self and unleash the hidden strength and power within you. At last, we watched over one hundred monarch butterflies complete their life cycle by flying freely around the room and sharing the wonder of creation with us.

Joshua Tree Excursion | Saturday – Sunday, May 25th – 26th, 2013
Elephanttribe.org and ElephantTribe Inspirational Films recently embraced the beauty of the epic nature filled landscape within the heart of JOSHUA TREE, CA. The ElephantTribe.org team filmed a sequence at the famous integratron, located in Joshua Tree.
The Integratron is the creation of George Van Tassel, and is based on the design of Moses’ Tabernacle, the writings of Nikola Tesla. This one-of-a-kind building is a 38-foot high, 55-foot diameter, non-metallic structure originally designed by Van Tassel as a rejuvenation and time machine. Today, it is the only all-wood, acoustically perfect sound chamber in the U.S.
From a New York Times article published on
11/24/05 – Dr. Mitchell L. Gaynor, an oncologist and clinical assistant professor of medicine at Weill Medical College of Cornell University in New York, and the author of “The Healing Power of Sound,” likens sound healing to music therapy. In “The Healing Power of Sound” he cites studies indicating that music can lower blood pressure, reduce cardiac complications among patients who have recently suffered heart attacks, reduce stress hormones during medical testing and boost natural opiates.
Sound healing is an important part of life. Elephanttribe.org explored the healing of certain natural vibrations to be able to share the idea of and importance of our wonderful human senses and all the balances of life. The Joshua tree excursion was a time where Elephanttribe.org was able to capture the complexity and power of both the desert nature and the power of sound healing.
We truly enjoyed the ear-opening experience and intend to make “sound” an important part of our inspirational movies.
