The Dalai Lama visited Silicon Valley and shares words of wisdom:
In a region filled with the world’s largest tech giants, the Dalai Lama emphasized the importance of compassion in the workplace for reduced anxiety, stress and bad health.
“Modern medical care is run like a business, but even business needs a sense of ethics,” the Dalai Lama said. “Since we have a body and mind, we need that mental peace and physical comfort to which compassion gives rise. We need to educate people to increase their concern for others’ well-being.”
The Egyptians believe that when you die you are asked two questions about your life. Your answers dictate where you will spend eternity. The two questions are:
Did you find joy in this life?
Did your life bring joy to others?

A true poet!
What a SWEET SURPRISE! …. Searching for a place to eat walking the late night streets of Downtown LA, I was lucky enough to meet a true poet. At first glance Kenneth seemed to be a homeless man asking for money on a street corner, however I quickly realized Kenneth Towler was asking for something very different: my time. He wanted me to hear him recite some poetry he had just written. It was amazing. He nearly moved me to tears when he shared with me his love of love and his passion for words and poetry. Before I could thank him and continue along my way, he handed me this handwritten poem: DANCE THE WIND.
