HIKE Matilija Canyon Trail – Overcoming Fear | February 16th, 2013

ETswans[2]On February 16th, 2013 ElephantTribe.org organized a hike on the Matilija Canyon Trail located near Ojai, California. We had a remarkable journey as we hiked 8.4 miles out and back overcoming tough terrain and river crossings. The hike included a very unique vertical rope climb that gave our hikers the opportunity to overcome fear of heights and learn more about how capable we can all be at engaging with life’s many obstacles. The reward at the top of the hike was a brilliant waterfall and the source of the river that we had been following for most of the excursion – reminding of our origin of birth and bodies – namely – water.

Joseph White Wolf will help settle your mind by being your Shaman guide during the walk. It is an excellent experience and a beautiful opportunity to let positive energy flow into the New Year. Joseph will be speaking directly with everyone on the walk.

Drum in the New Year with Pape Diouf – master drummer from Senegal.  Pape Diouf will be leading a drum circle around 2 PM.
