Verse 1] Foaie verde, bob secarฤ, M-a prins dorul de astฤ-sarฤ. E un dor ce nu se vede, Inima รฎn piept รฎmi crede, Cฤ eศti munte, cฤ eศti vale, ศi mi-ai stat de-a pururi cale.
[Chorus] Mฤi bฤdiศฤ, floare rarฤ, Dragostea e foc ศi fiarฤ. Arde-n suflet, nu se stinge, Ca un vรขnt ce mฤ atinge. Acordeonul plรขnge-n noapte, Spunรขndu-mi doar ale tale ศoapte.
[Verse 2] Zice lumea cฤ-i pฤcat, Sฤ iubeศti un om plecat. Dar eu n-ascult de pฤmรขnt, Ascult inima รฎn vรขnt. Sฤ vii, neicฤ, pe sub meri, Sฤ-mi dai sฤrutul de ieri.
[Chorus] Mฤi bฤdiศฤ, floare rarฤ, Dragostea e foc ศi fiarฤ. Arde-n suflet, nu se stinge, Ca un vรขnt ce mฤ atinge. Acordeonul plรขnge-n noapte, Spunรขndu-mi doar ale tale ศoapte.
[Outro] Dorule, mฤi dorule… Nu mฤ lฤsa, mรขndruleโฆ

Translation (English)
Verse 1] Green leaf, rye grain, I have been gripped by the longing for this day. It is a longing that cannot be seen, My heart in my chest believes, That you are a mountain, that you are a valley, And you have stood in my way forever.
[Chorus] Oh, my dear, rare flower, Love is fire and beast. It burns in the soul, it does not go out, Like a wind that touches me. The accordion cries in the night, Telling me only your whispers.
[Verse 2] The world says it is a sin, To love a man who has left. But I do not listen to the earth, I listen to the heart in the wind. Come, my sister, under the apple trees, To give me yesterday’s kiss.
[Chorus] Oh, my dear, rare flower, Love is fire and beast. It burns in the soul, it does not go out, Like a wind that touches me. The accordion cries in the night, Telling me only your whispers.
[Outro] Longing, oh longing… Don’t leave me, proud…
Open up and see the magic! A Childrenโs Fairytale inspired by the beloved Hindu God โGaneshโ. Read the complete book with rich colorful illustrations below.

Little Amara lived in a garden full of soft grass and bright flowers. One morning, she saw a very special friend sitting under a big tree. It was Ganesha, with his kind elephant face and his very round belly. He looked as peaceful as a sleeping cloud.

Near Ganeshaโs feet, a tiny mouse named Mushika was busy nibbling on a sweet yellow treat. He had big ears and a long, twitching tail. Amara giggled as Mushika looked up and gave a friendly squeak.

Around Ganeshaโs tummy was a shiny, green snake named Vasuki. Vasuki wasnโt scary at all; he sparkled like a necklace made of emeralds. He flicked his tongue and looked at Ganesha with great love.

Amara looked at Ganeshaโs belly. It was so big and so round! She wondered what was inside that made it so special. “Is it full of sweets?” she asked with a tilt of her head. Ganesha just smiled and nodded for her to come closer.

Amara reached out her hand and placed her palm right in the middle of Ganeshaโs tummy. It felt warm and soft, like a sunbeam. Suddenly, the air began to hum a sweet, quiet song that made Amara feel very calm.

As she kept her hand there, the garden seemed to fade away. Amara and Mushika were suddenly floating! Tiny dots of light, like silver dust, swirled all around them. It wasn’t dark; it was full of every color she had ever seen.

Vasuki stretched out long and thin, turning into a bridge of stars. Amara saw the moon, the sun, and all the planets spinning slowly. “The whole world is in here,” she whispered. Everything was connected, like a giant, beautiful blanket.

Then, everything became very quiet. The spinning stars felt like a soft lullaby. Amara realized that the big, wide universe was not a scary place. It was a home full of peace, and it was all held safely inside Ganeshaโs belly.

Mushika came close and tapped Amaraโs hand. He wanted her to know that the peace she felt wasn’t just in the stars. It was inside her, too. Amara felt a warm glow in her heart that matched the glow of the universe.

With a blink, Amara was back in the garden. Ganesha was still smiling, and Vasuki was tucked back in his place. Amara patted Ganeshaโs belly one last time. She knew a secret now: the whole world is big, but peace is always close enough to touch.

* ยฉ This work began with a traditional Albanian saying passed from Ervin Blloshmi to Henrik Frederiksen of ElephantTribe.org. Using the evocative mantraโ”Oh devil, you trickster. Iโll give you whatโs yours, you give me whatโs mine”โthe vision was brought to life through a creative partnership between Gemini AI and Suno AI.
“O shejtan pilivan. Unรซ do tรซ ta jap gjรซnรซ tรซnde, ti ma jep gjรซnรซ time.”
“Oh devil, you trickster. Iโll give you whatโs yours, you give me whatโs mine.”
The Dalai Lama often explains that the six syllables represent the transformation of an impure body, speech, and mind into the pure body, speech, and mind of a Buddha.
“The jewel is in the lotus.” Just as the lotus flower grows from the mud but remains unstained by it, the “jewel” of enlightenment exists within the “lotus” of our ordinary lives.”

In Tibetan Buddhism, the Six Syllables are more than just sounds; they are a cosmic map. Each syllable is linked to a specific color, a “Dhyani Buddha,” and a specific realm of existence that the mantra seeks to purify.
Visualizing these colors while you chant is a practice used to transform negative emotions into enlightened qualities.
| Syllable | Color | Realm to Purify | Emotion Transformed |
| Om | White | God Realm | Pride & Ego |
| Ma | Green | Demi-god Realm | Envy & Entertainment-seeking |
| Ni | Yellow | Human Realm | Passion & Desire |
| Pad | Blue | Animal Realm | Ignorance & Prejudice |
| Me | Red | Hungry Ghost Realm | Greed & Possessiveness |
| Hum | Black/Dark Blue | Hell Realm | Anger & Hatred |
The color white represents purity and primordial wisdom. By chanting Om with a white visualization, you are addressing the “God Realm”โa place of great pleasure where the danger is becoming so blinded by pride that you forget to practice compassion.
Green represents all-accomplishing action. It targets the realm of the “Asuras” (Titans or Demi-gods). These beings are constantly fighting out of envy. The green light cools this jealousy and turns it into the wisdom of accomplishment.
Yellow symbolizes equanimity and wealth of spirit. It addresses the Human Realm. Our greatest struggle is often “desire”โwanting things to be different than they are. Yellow light helps ground us in the present moment, transforming desire into self-arising wisdom.
Blue represents the mirror-like wisdom. It shines into the Animal Realm, which is characterized by “Ignorance”โliving life on autopilot or reacting purely on instinct. The blue light brings clarity and the ability to see things as they truly are.
Red is the color of discernment. It reaches into the Hungry Ghost realmโbeings who are never full, no matter how much they consume. Red light transforms the “unquenchable thirst” of greed into the wisdom of knowing exactly what is needed.
The final syllable is often visualized as a deep, midnight blue or black, representing immutability. It descends into the Hell Realm to extinguish the fires of hatred and aggression, turning that intense energy into the “mirror of truth.”
When you chant, you can visualize these colors as beams of light shooting out from your heart in sequence, or imagine yourself sitting inside a rainbow sphere composed of these six colors.

Charles Kingsley Poem: A Farewell [1856]
My fairest child, I have no song to give you;
No lark could pipe in skies so dull and gray;
Yet, if you will, one quiet hint I’ll leave you,
For every day.
I’ll tell you how to sing a clearer carol
Than lark who hails the dawn or breezy down
To earn yourself a purer poet’s laurel
Than Shakespeare’s crown.
Be good, sweet maid, and let who can be clever;
Do lovely things, not dream them, all day long;
And so make Life, and Death, and that For Ever,
One grand sweet song.
